*Accidents are not limited to vehicle accidents only but can be any other accidents that leads to death or permanent disability.
How to make a claim
After an accident that has caused disability the following documents are required:
- Medical report from at least two qualified medical doctors
- Completed claim form
- ID of the policyholder
- ID of claimant (if different from the policyholder)
- A police report of the accident
After an accident that has caused accidental death the following documents are required:
- Death Certificate, Burial Order or Order to Bury or Affidavit from the Chief confirming the death of the deceased.
- ID copies of claimant and two (2) witnesses with at least two bearing the same surname as that of the deceased.
- A police report of the accident
Payout options
In the event of an accident that results in a death or permanent disability, you can receive your pay-out as follows:
Death
- Option 1:
Immediate payout paid out as installments to the entitled family or beneficiary
- Option 2:
Immediate lumpsum payment after the death to the beneficiary
Permanent disability due to an accident
- Option 1:
Immediate payout paid out as instalments in the form of medical subscriptions or fees and the balance in the form of grocery allowance
- Option 2:
Immediate lumpsum payment
