No, your Beneficiary can be any Individual, Funeral Service Provider or Burial Society

How do I see who I am sponsoring?
  • Dial *900#.
  • Select "Auto Sponsor Premium Payment”.
  • Select “View Sponsorship”.
How I do make a premium payment for another account (Sponsored Payment)

Manual Sponsored Premium Payment

  • Dial *900#
  • Select "Make Payment".
  • Select "Other Account".
  • Select number of months to pay for.
  • Enter EcoCash registered number and confirm.

Auto Sponsored Premium Payment

  • Dial *900#.
  • Select "Auto Sponsor Premium Payment".
  • Select "Sponsor New Member".
  • Enter number to be sponsored.
  • Enter the last 3 letters of the sponsored person’s surname and confirm.
  • Please ensure there are sufficient funds in your EcoCash wallet before making payment.
Can I pay other people's premiums?

Yes, we call them “Sponsored Payments”. You can pay premiums for another EcoSure policyholder via the USSD menu.

Can I pay my monthly premiums in advance?

Yes, you can make an advance payment of premiums for yourself or another person's account for 3/6/9/12 months.

What do I need to register as a member of an existing Burial Society?
  • Have an active Econet registered SIM card.
  • Must be registered for EcoCash.
  • Be between the age of 18 and 70.
  • Upon completion of the registration process MUST select the Society/ Club or Family as a Bene-ficiary.
What documents do I need to register a Burial Society?
  • Completed EcoSure application form.
  • Constitution of the Society/ Club or Family or resolution signed by Club Executives to reg-ister Club/ Family on EcoSure.
  • 2 passport photos of each of the Executive members i.e. Chairperson, Secretary and Treas-urer.
  • Proof of residence for the Executive members and copy of IDs of the Executive members.
  • Completed EcoCash Merchant Account Form or active Merchant Account.
Do I have to live with my Dependants?

No, you do not have to live with your Dependants.

Which package will my Dependants be on?

They will be on the same package as the policyholder.
